Syllabus

This Syllabus is where you will find all of the information about the class and I will try to include everything necessary to know in here! Please read the entire syllabus BEFORE starting the class so you don't miss anything! 

Points

Here is the points breakdown. Note: You can earn a max of 300 points from this class and no more will be awarded. 

Assignment 1 - 60 points

Assignment 2 - 60 points

Assignment 3 - 60 points

Assignment 4 - 60 points

Final Exam - 60 points

Awards

3 awards will be handed out in this class.

Arithmancer - Given to the student who earns all 300 points.

Numbers Master - Given to the student who has the highest point count from their house. 

Creative Mathematician - Given to the student(s) who impress me with their assignments. 

Quills

A quill will be awarded to anyone who earns 180 points!

Feel free to send me a HOL message as well and that will catch my attention quickly. Please do not use the class email for questions because I will not be checking that frequently - only to grade assignments now and then.

Accessibility

I want to make sure that nobody has difficulties completing assignments for accessibility reasons. If an issue occurs do to accessibility, please do not hesitate to immediately send me a message and I will fix the problem in the best way possible. I try to make the assignments accessible to everyone by including alternative options for the puzzles and anything else that might be an issue. However, if something turns out not to be, contact me.

Deadlines

There are no monthly deadlines, but make sure that everything is in by January 15th for Spring Term and June 15th for Fall Term.
